Another lacking lesson. Only teaches them half of what they need to know. Last year's 천재 book covered the same topic but covered clothing you wear in the cold as well. So I took this lesson and added more vocab and useful expressions using the old book as a guide. The vocab sheet has the vocab and key expressions I want to teach but it also has the actual role play from this book on it. I'm also teaching about Christmas (since this book is completely devoid of western holidays despite the fact that a good percentage of Korea is Christian referring to just Christmas here).
I am reading them Arthur's Surprise.
Playing bingo.
Playing Fashion show (basically, I call all the clothes they learned during the lesson if they do not have it they sit down. If they have it after they sit down they can stand up. The ones left standing win. The key is the order in which you call the items.
I have a BAAM! game which I got from here, so I am not going to repost it but if you can't find it, PM me and I will email it to you.
Also, Attached is my musical chairs game to tune the tune of pass the ball. Played like traditional musical chairs. Also, attached is accompanying practice ppt.
I'm playing a Christmas bomb game just to familiarize them with Christmas terms.
Enjoy.
