What a cute game!  Unfortunately, I think I am challenged.  Well, it's either me or the game!  After I click on the green check mark and it tells me I get 3 points, then what?  I cannot get back to the original golf course.  (A little Caddy Shack humor.)   :-[

Kindly advise.

Thank you!

Hahaha, After you click on the green check mark, to bounce the mole up and down to collect the points and have the students laugh, on the screen where it say you (3pts) click that check three times and the mole will bounce up and down as many times as you like. To return to the main screen with the numbers, click on the top of the big hammer.

Hey,

I couldn't get the mole game to bring me back to the numbers menu, even when I clicked above the hammer.  :(  Here's a weather ppt, it's just a review.  Then I played fruits basket with the kids, they love it!

Chairs are in a circle, the kids  are assigned a weather.  When they hear their weather, they get up and run around, and whoever is left standing has to say the vocabulary.
TEECHA! SONG TEECHA!

How to play the fruit basket game by Wolftashie.

You assign different groups of students different words (if you are doing fruit, then banana or apple).  You have chairs in a circle, one less than the number of students.  The odd one out has to say the word (BANANA!) and all the banana students have to stand up and run to a different seat.  The last one standing has to say a new word.  For weather, I used windy, snowy, cloudy, sunny, etc.  The kids love it, but you have to make sure they get up when they hear their word.

Thank you for the cute "Whack-a-Mole" game! For those of you who had trouble getting back the the question board (number slide) just move your cursor around on the hammer icon. You should click on it when the hand shows up instead of your pointer. Hope this helps.

I modified the whack a mole game to include more than just +3 and removed the clothing elements since it's not the focus of this lesson.

A hows the weather game, the slides at the end can be ignored the 'V' I just play rock paper scissors with the kids, if they win; 10 points if they lose; -10, or you could give them a Chinese burn or tell them there's no Santa or that Korea is below Ireland in the Fifa rankings you know something applicable.

I have included a vocabulary ppt (incl. spelling), which also has a mini game at the end. Hopefully you can use this for the 2012 school year.

Here is a very basic ppt introducing the 5 key weather phrases. Could look better but does the job for the beginning of the first lesson.

Here's a guessing game where the students guess what the weather is like in various cities around the world. They guess whether it is hot or cold, and how it looks ouside (sunny, cloudy, snowing, etc). I've embedded live webpages for both the city's weather and a live webcam to show the weather conditions in that city.

You will need this plug-in in order for the live webpages to work properly:

http://skp.mvps.org/liveweb.htm

I've included instructions at the end of the PPT on how to install this plug-in and how to enable macros and ActiveX so that the presentation works properly.

If you have any questions or problems, please let me know.

Hope you find it useful!
