Below is a bunch of Simpsons related stuff I made.

A family intro ppt with the Simpsons (the last slide has 8 numbered photos in a grid - I use numbered cards to play a card snatch game in pairs).
A review ppt (adding in 'friend' and putting a blank in the question 'Who is ___?' (he/she))
A matching game.
A tracing/writing worksheet  with a word search (1st slide for printing, second for displaying on screen).
A clapping game (someone put this in the grade 6 material lately and it works great).  I find ignoring the idea of doing it one at a time works better - have the class do it all at once - they love it.

I also did a family ppt with photos of myself and my family, and added in photos of everyone when they were young. The next class I had them ask 'Is he/she your ___?' as I put up different young photos of myself and relatives and they had to guess who it was.

Here is a listening game for this chapter. It doesn't have family in there, but I am going to use it to get the kids used to the phrases 'He is..' and 'She is..' in the first lesson.

Also - haven't gotten the edited Korean on the PPT back from my CT yet, so it's probably wrong. I used Google Translate.

I changed a good few questions from the SpongeBob game posted about to suit this book more and to give it more variety

Took the clapping game PPT from earlier in this thread and made it simpler. Maybe my Ss are less coordinated but they could barely keep up with my version. I think the original one would have killed them.

I printed out some pictures of famous character and would tape one to the back of a student, turn the student around to show the class and then let them say sentences to help the one student guess. I just used Psy as an example on my coteacher's back. I don't think my kids could have handled playing that one for real without freaking out.

Really simple PPT with famous characters (Snow White, Pororo, etc.) to introduce that real awkward "He is _____" construction.

I took someone's spinner template from where I don't know. I re-made it for this unit. I started my lesson with the Gogo vid in this thread. I put some screenshots in the ppt and after a second listening get students to answer and repeat the key sentences. I have always found this a great time filler. I only used the 'human' section. (There are extra slides of Gogo's family at the end if you need some filler at the end of your class.)

The next part of the ppt is key unit vocab and sentences. Then I do the book bits. PPT then moves on to pattern practice for use in the spinner game, with instructions following. There are three random game practice slides at the end, I decided there was too many and they just repeat themselves anyway. Do with them what you will.

Oh I also used someone's animation images in part of my PPT, thank you, too.

Here is a intro ppt for period 1 and a Pororo Bomb Game (got the template somewhere off this site) for the end of class. The kids really enjoyed this lesson along with the slap game the book provides. Hope it helps! :)

Story time practice PPT - I may have excluded a phrase or two as it just 'clutters' it. Excluding the 'clutter' also helps the kids when they memorize their lines for the role play :)

The ppt says Horray 1, but it's a different game using the same cards from the back of the book.

Basically, it's just a 'telepathy' game. The students all flip over one card randomly, and if the card matches mine, (use my own set, or the PPT), then they gain a point. (Obviously, use the expressions in the book when you play this game, and get the students to speak)
