These PPTs took me a little while and do not require much clicking.
They are styled in video format (hence the size).
All fonts, sounds & music should be embedded but if you have problems let me know.
Sound is pretty integral - I suggest you turn it right up! 

To save paper, print the worksheet double sided if possible...

Wow, this looks awesome! I need some advice from anybody...I'm thinking of doing this for my advanced middle school 2nd grade class next week, since they are done with all the text material. Do you think this is too mature for that age?

Hey rdh2209 - I think with a little tweaking this could certainly be used for 2nd grade middle school students.
The content is a little creepy, but doesn't actually show anything too obscene.
Perhaps the image at the end of Aftertheboat.ppt should be removed? The screaming? It's up to you...

I do think the worksheet will probably need editing. The comic should work great, but I'm not even sure my students will be able to complete the worksheet.
Perhaps simplify it a little, or give them more time on it (or larger groups).
You could even reduce the amount of characters involved.

Man I swear I posted in this thread already, but for some reason it doesn't appear.

Anyway awesome job and great idea on this. One thing I don't understand is the purpose of some of the characters. Like why is having a flair gun, cell phone, money and power important? Because if everything is overrun by zombies, I don't see any use for a flair gun, cell phone or money. What was your original thinking?

I think i'm going to change a few of the characters, maybe an ex special forces guy, but he has no weapon and a scientist instead of rom zombie.

I do agree, some of the characters seem rather pointless.
I was hoping the students would figure this out for themselves, however.

I used it today in class and it was a good change up, been playing too many games lately. Thanks for the lifesaver. I thought it was a very good lesson. It must have been hard finding some of the pics you used in the lesson. I can only imagine as I get frustrated myself trying to find the right pics.

-She was in the North Korean special forces
-She has weapons
-She is a lesbian

Sniper
-Expert sniper
-Doesn't trust people
-Suffers from post traumatic syndrome

Mr. McFly
-Knows how to fly airplanes
-He eats too much food and is lazy
-He is gay and loves Korean men (lol)

Anna
-She is pretty
-She is stupid and somewhat crazy
-She is very promiscuous

Bob
-Knows how to build and make things
-Knows kickboxing
-Wants a girlfriend desperately

Mr. Yammamoto
-Scientist who knows a lot about zombies
-He experimented on humans during WW II
-He is perverted

Funny kids still pick Anna for breading purposes even though she might be crazy and promiscuous.

Vitamin-d you are the f-ing man!  I really wanted to do this with my 3rd graders, but was worried it might flop with some of the girls.  So I did a test run on my after school yesterday and they all went freaking bananas for it!  I showed the after the boat ppt, and then the girls were like, "But teacher, who got bit?!  What is the story?!"  I told them I'd write a story to follow up because they put so much thought into it :)

I tried opening The Zombie Story ppt file but a message comes up stating PowerPoint can't read the outline from the file and that No text converter is installed for this file type.

Any help and insight would be appreciated.
