Here is a nice song that uses two of the key expressions from period 2. It's a bit long so use it as a welcome song at the beginning of class to settle the kids down and then start your lesson.

Happy teaching

Hi Everyone!

Here is a memorize! ppt game.  It is kinda of short, it can be used to practice the key expressions before a game.

Cheers!

Hi Everyone (again)!

Here is a pass the ball game. I use two different color balls. A question and answer ball. Anyway this is for use with the second period.

I have made a hot envelope game for period 2. Basically I have printed the attached pictures (6 to a page) and cut them up and put them in an envelope. Pass the envelope around to music. When the music stops the student has to take a picture and say the correct expression.

If find this is a useful game for when there are a bunch of key expressions which don't easily go together (watch out, are you ok? let's go fishing).

Also here is the ppt I plan on using for p1 and p2. At the end of the p1 ppt there is a connect 4 game but I will probably use Maureen's memorise game instead for p1.

Here is a Pororo ppt game for the 3rd period. Some of the sight reading might be a bit too hard for some of the students but all of the sentences come from p.136 in the textbook. If you use it, please let me know how it went in your class.

Cheers!

Vocabulary PPT and 'My space' game! (put a coin or an eraser in the star, shoot it and make my space when I say the expression correctly. Those who get more spaces win!)

I like to start day one with a motivational/fun song, here's the Wiggles "Let's Go Swimming."

Not perfect, but every student should be able to sing the "let's go swimming!" chorus by the end.  ^_^

Hey I used it and it went really well. The kids loved the intro music and thought that the graphics were very cool.

I used the photos from the  a couple of the PPT's on this thread and a PPT template to make an AngryBirds review game for Chapter 12
Thanks to the original creators of both  8)
Heads Up: I edited the template on Office 2010. I had to save it as a macro enabled presentation in order to get it to work. However, waygook.org didn't recognize the file type, so I resaved it. The version that you download may or may not work. Try saving it as a macro enabled presentation if possible.
Go through the game and make sure it has no bugs. I apologize in advance if it doesn't work at all. I'm sorta new to the game  ;D

Alrighty - I hope this plan works well.  It hasn't been executed yet.

Attached is a ppt to introduce the words and endings, the expressions, and basic explanations for 2 activities.

Introduce the words/endings/expressions

Use the book

Matching (with the verbandendings.doc file, make word cards) - each student will either have a verb or an ending.  They must find an ending (or word).  Then go around the circle and have them say the word.  Go around the circle again and have each pair say the whole expression (Let's ...)

Pass the crumpled ball - crumple one sheet, then crumple another sheet around it, then another around that one and so one.  When making the ball, feel free to put in a piece of candy in one of the layers.  Play music.  Students will pass the ball around.  When the music stops, that student will have to take off one layer and read that expression.  Pass until there are no more layers to be peeled.

Review with the ppt - Make each student conjugate the verb and use it in a sentence.  It's just the same slides used in the introduction part.

It's for reading practice.
One PPT shows voca(verbs) to practice next ppt.
I focus on the expressions of 'I can~' and 'Let's go~.'
You can modifiy, of course.
Have fun~

Used a lot of paper, but the kids LOVED it. Thank you.
