Here is a game for this really dumbed down lesson. We decided to teach them as many adjectives as they can absorb which turned out to be a lot. I found it under someone's else book and altered it for ours.
The game fairly self explanatory but here are the sentences we had them use:
For the Lion, spider, and snake, they had to say one extra sentence:
Watch out!
It's a _______. (snake, lion, spider)
It's _______. (appropriate adjective) We tried to have them use scary for these three, but it was up to them.
For rest of the animals (and egg, fish and ice cream) they just had to say the last two sentences.
I have attached the word document so you can edit it if you want. Just note that it's a tricky bugger to edit and if you do, you have to convert to PDF to print or for some reason it prints a black background even though there isn't one present on the file. It prints fine in PDF form. The PDF file is attached. My students loved the go back to start spot (it's placed so far away from start and that's what they liked). I hope someone can use and enjoy. It went over far better than I expected to, as my kids were really enjoying using adjectives.
