Let's Go book 2 3rd edition (yellow)

- who are you guessing game for unit 5 (hand out flashcards, Ss may only look at their card, ask "who is s/he?", Ss must guess occupation

- 4 corners game for unit 6 works well (flashcards up around the room, one student is blindfolded, rest of Ss run around and stand by a flashcard, count to 10, ask "where are they?", student says location, all students at that flashcard are out)

- charades for unit 7 (one student comes to the front, show action flashcard, must act it out, first correct guesser gets to come up and act out next card)

-> Review worksheet is from units 5 - 8

-> I did not make the Shark Hangman game from scratch; thanks original template creator!

I just finished using Let's Go 1 3rd edition.

For each lesson I had a ppt with that began with introductions and a song, and ended in the same manner. The middle part of the lesson had slides the reviewed things from the day before, and then introduced the new material.

Instead of attaching EVERY lesson, I've compiled all the slides I used for a unit, and put them together into one mega powerpoint.

Right now I just have unit's 6-8 all together in ppt's. If people find these helpful I'll try to organize the rest of the units.

I've also attached a game I used at the end of the book the reviewed everything they'd learned.

I wOULD LOVE TO KNOW if you have the earlier Units of Lets go 1 !!!i would greatly appreciate !! your work is awsome

This is for the first half of lesson 2 in Let's Go 1.

The ppt is mostly straight from the textbook except for the game on the last slide. The worksheets are a combination of the workbook and crap I made myself or found on the internet.

I plan on playing Simon Says using stuff from a previous lesson and the actions in slides 1-3. The rest is pretty straightforward.
Thank you so much for all thge material for grade 1

It seems that they are on a 4th edition now. I am using these at my camp and I am going to try and upload some materials after we finish.

The main thing I just want to point out is that the topics and chapters seem a bit different.

Let's Go 1
Unit 1 Things for school
Unit 2 Colors and shapes
Unit 3 At the store
Unit 4 People at home
Unit 5 Happy Birthday
Unit 6 Outdoors
Unit 7 Food
Unit 8 Animals

Hey - I'd be keen for those materials if they're still available? Book 1 4th Edition!
Thanks so much

Book 5, 4th Edition

Unit 1 (Food and Quantifiers) Review

I'm teaching this book in my Middle School (Grade 1) after school classes, 90 minutes, twice a week. The kids are relatively lower level, and this book seems to be working pretty well with them.

I edited a Miyasaki Bomb game (credit to original uploader) to make a simple review for the lesson. Might be of use if anyone is still teaching these books.

huge thank you to Gabrielle for all her hard work!

Book 5, 4th Edition, Unit 2 Comparing Animals

Unit 2 Review Bomb Game. Credit to original uploader (I can't remember if it was from this thread or another) I edited a good amount of the questions and images to better fit with the 4th Edition.

Book 5, 4th Edition, Unit 3 Last Weekend

Picked up where Gabrielle left off PPT wise. Here are vocab/grammar and practice PPTs for each period in the chapter, as well as games. Each vocab PPT has a drill game in it, and then an additional game is attached.

I made some of these pretty quickly, so double check for typos and such before using.

As always, thank you to the original creators of all the game templates.

Book 5, 4th Edition, Unit 4: Activities

We're close to the end of the semester now, and the students have a lot less attention and energy. Mostly they want to do pub quizzes. So the ppts for this chapter are shorter, a bit more to the point.
