hey guys! i ran this lesson at the beginning of the month with my third graders and it went pretty well even though they're generally fairly low level so i thought i'd share it. hopefully it will help someone else out!
this lesson stretched over two weeks, so the lesson plan entitled week 7 was the first, and week 8 was the second. you might be able to run through it a bit faster depending on the students' abilities, but this timed out pretty perfectly for me. if you find the ppt to be repetitive, that's because i copied and pasted some slides from the previous week to review in week 2, so you will see some slides more than once. the slides are timed so i could ask students to brainstorm entrees before they saw pictures, and then had them name the pictures once they came up to ensure comprehension. if you have any questions, please let me know!
