I got these games and review PPTs from this amazing site, thank you to whoever made them. I edited and changed them to match lesson 14: Can you skate?

Here is a lesson that worked great for my, "Can you...?" lesson with 1st and 2nd grade EFL students.
I basically started with a simple 'can' and 'can't' then let the kids show me their talents as I showed them mine.
Then I went into, "Yes, I can" and "No, I can't."  I also did a jump game where the kids stand in one line, I show them a picture of an action, then they jump to the right if they can do it, or to the left if they can't. They love it!

Not sure how many people still use this orange textbook, but school seems to be holding onto it for dear life... Here's a ppt game I made, its focus is on speaking: Can you skate? Yes, I can or No, can't. Lots of repetition and many examples involved and the students enjoyed it very much, esp. when another team lost all their points, haha! :)

Can someone post the target language and vocab for lesson 14? I forgot my book at school and I new to make a PPT over the weekend for Lesson 14 Can You Skate.

Hi!

Here's a song and video I made for teaching can/can't. My students have had tons of fun with it. I split them into three groups: each group takes one verse and is responsible for creating a dance to go along with it.

The attachments: slide show so you can teach it at a slower pace and a printable version of the lyrics.

Students get in teams of 3 or 4.  Teacher will show a hidden picture "Can you skate?" and based on what they see, teams will discuss whether or not they think the person can skate. 5 or so seconds later, X says "can't" and O says "can".  There are eleven pictures (featuring some Running Man members)...team with most points at the end wins!  Our school has the X and O sticks so if you don't have them, just have students write X or O on a piece of paper. Enjoy!
