The first attachment is an information gap worksheet. Students are each given one worksheet (there are 5 varieties) and have to stand up and interview each other.

The second attachment is a game we played which involves the whole class working together. Print out the different words and give each student one word (we had 24 in each class). Then read out the following sentences one at a time:

"What grade are you in?"
"What class are you in?"
"I'm in the sixth grade."
"I'm in grade 4 class 2."
"How's it going?"
"My favorite food is chapati."
"I go to Daehyun elementary school."

After a sentence is read the students with the correct words must run to the front and line up to make the sentence. Then the next sentence is read etc.

We turned it into an interclass race to see which class could get through all 7 sentences the fastest and the students had a lot of fun. We also had a second round where my co teacher would read a sentence in Korean and the class would have to translate it to English to make the sentence.

I made a powerpoint explaining Ordinal numbers, then a race car game to practice them.
It's like a lottery where students guess who will be 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th. If someone matches
all you can give them a prize.

I also attached "Race Cards" for the students to write their picks, and cards to draw out of
a bag.

Hope it's useful.

just making an edit for the unaware:  ninth....not nineth

This is a great intro ppt for Lesson 1. I used it in combination with Ohio University's shuffle performance and a middle school choir singing Rolling in the Deep. The students really, really enjoyed it.

Sorry I'm late to the party on this one :~p I made a review worksheet that covers Lessons 1 and 2. It's beginner level, so no frills about it.
