Physical Geography, MG1, Low Level
« on: November 30, 2010, 02:49:28 pm »
This is a presentation and game on Physical Geography for low-level first grade students.  The slower kids learned some and the smarter kids at least got to practice their vocabulary.

Presentation includes some geography vocab with pictures, "What is it?" label activity, fill in the blank, word unscramble, etc.

The game has 18 questions and is bomb-style with a Mario template.  Click on the numbers in the boxes to go to the question, click on the pipe in the bottom right to go back home.

This filled about 35-37 minutes (but again, my students are fairly low level); since it's my second to last class with these guys I just let them watch a short cartoon at the end.

This is so cute! We often tend to neglect the low level students in mixed classes, so I think is a great way to shine the spotlight on them for a change! Really thoughtful!
