This powerpoint can apply to any book, and various grades, depending on the level of your students. This is a spelling review powerpoint game, very simple. Two teams, one team member fomr each team comes up to the white board, and they race each other to write the correct spelling of the word. It's good if you can't find a game that fits a particular lesson or unit.

Here is a powerpoint matching game I made for the first lesson. It uses the characters from the textbook and a few other well known characters (Peter Pan, Hook, 짱구, Santa). It's extremely simple, just drag away the boxes corresponding to the two numbers the students choose and replace them after each turn. I had my students reading the sentences "My name is ___." and saying "Hi/Hello ___" if they chose a box with a picture.

I used this for Chapter 1 Period 2 but it can be used for almost any period.

Sts fill in their Name, Birthday and Telephone #.  They cut up the cards.

Before the activity begins sts (in a group of 4) put 2/6 of their name cards in the middle of the desk. A card is chosen randomly and that sts than has to introduce themself. "Hello my name is ________." or "Hi, I'm _________"

Now sts should have 6 cards with their information, they than walk around the class and introduce themself 6 times. After each time they give their name card to that sts.

At the end of the class they glue the name cards to their activity book and keep them...

(I like this because as opposed to a power point game where a few sts are talking, here every sts in the class introduces themself 8 times.
