here is my lesson for lesson 12 speak out A. It went over pretty well - especially when I bribed them with candy if they read out their poems PPT and worksheet attached! I also show them a 6/7 minute simpson's clip at the end that they enjoy - the quality isn't great but they won't complain if it means 7 minutes less of them having to "concentrate".

This is for the first part of the speaking section "I wish I....like you"

I stole most of the presentation from somebody on the old thread. A worksheet is included, and also a game.

For the game, have the students choose a number to reveal more of the picture. Some of the numbers are bombs (-3 points). When they see enough of the picture, they can guess the phrase "I wish I....like him/her" If they get it right they get 10 points, if they're wrong they lose a point.
