My lesson for this week:

I must warn you that this class is a really hard work one. The students have fun but it's exhausting trying to control them, get them to do the right thing and get done in time. This is a lesson to do with helpful co-teachers.

What I do is go through describing (colors, shapes, materials, uses) prompting them for what each one is. Then I give them a card inside a small black plastic bag and get them to write 4 sentences describing it. Each team takes turns coming to the front and describing their card while other teams guess what it is. Both the describing and guessing team win points based on how quickly they get it. It takes at least 15 minutes to do this with 7 teams
