Here is a PPT on a Summer to remember. There are at least two 45 minute classes which can be filled by the activities in this PPT (It's taken up three for me and I haven't even got to the language which I'm saving for next term). Under the slide entitled "Travel South Korea and the World" there is a link to a "Where the Hell is Matt?" Video. You can play it and make it into a memory game afterwards (they get points for there team if they can remember five places Matt went).  I hope I've posted enough comments now so that is attaches successfully. Hopefully a good lesson to ease them into school life next Semester.

 ;)
These files were harvested from last year's conversation line.

If using these make sure you try them all out first so that you find any errors or omissions that may be in them.  I haven't reviewed every single one yet, and there is always the possibility that one of the questions is something like "Where did David-Teacher go on vacation?" So keep your eyes out for things like that, but here are some of the projects (without instructions or experience listed, so think before you present!) that others have created for this lesson for this book in the past ~ and remember, these are all creative projects that can be bent and shaped more to your classes and to your liking, so dive in and craft, or enjoy that others already have, or a little of both.

But enjoy none-the-less.

Cheers,
Jimmer

hey,

here's my attempt to cobble together a ppt for this chapter. It is a mixture of two separate ppts I found in waygook plus my contribution of a world map section where students come up front randomly click on a star and are transported to a specific place. Due to issues of attachment restrictions I did not include the "Where the Hell is Matt?" video

Here is my PPT with two lessons worth plus a document with two lesson plans, one for each part of the PPT.
I combined some stuff I found on this thread with the textbook activities and a couple of worksheets.
The first worksheet is a telephone conversation quiz.
The second one covers "going to" and "want to."
Hope it helps!
