If using these make sure you try them all out first so that you find any errors or omissions that may be in them.  I haven't reviewed every single one yet, and there is always the possibility that one of the questions is something like "Where did David-Teacher go on vacation?" So keep your eyes out for things like that, but here are some of the projects (without instructions or experience listed, so think before you present!) that others have created for this lesson for this book in the past ~ and remember, these are all creative projects that can be bent and shaped more to your classes and to your liking, so dive in and craft, or enjoy that others already have, or a little of both.

But enjoy none-the-less.

Here's a ppt for Lesson 8. Students will learn about Mr. Smart's schedule. After the ppt, students will make mini books about their own Mr./Mrs. Smart.

Here is my PPT with two lessons worth plus a document containing a lesson plan for each lesson.
I combined a lot of stuff I found on here and added the text book activities.
My lesson includes the Tsunami game posted above.
I created my own rules for it which you can find in my lesson plan and PPT.
