Here is a worksheet and presentation that I'm using this year. I definitely stole some materials from Rowanteacher and modified it just a bit. Also, I'll be using his game for this lesson too. I played trashball last year but his game looks much prettier than mine. Thanks, Rowan!
PS- I made a 2 page worksheet but I'm actually only going to use page 1 in my class.
PPS- I briefly checked for errors but I could have missed something.
*Edit* I changed the presentation just a bit.

Here is what I have for grade 2. First we go over the key phrases and read the dialogue. Then I give students 3 minutes to practice the partner dialogue with each other. The examples in red are ideas for them to use, but I encourage them to make up their own sentences. After sharing with the class we go over the examples of "How -to" books (they are discussed on pg.23) I have students work with a partner in their notebook to make their own example which is a title, 3 steps, and telling me why it is important.

Here is a ppt for Lesson 1. It goes through some examples of "good goals" and how to set a good goal. After I had the students fill out a worksheet with 3 goals and how they would achieve each one. Then they had to ask 3 different students about their goals and explain them to each other.

**EDIT**
This is an update of last year's rather poor lesson.
It is a PPT with two lessons worth for this chapter, plus a document containing a lesson plan for each lesson in the PPT.
Most of the content is borrowed from other waygookers, including an Advice Bomb Game at the end of my PPT that you can use in an after school class or something.
My lessons include the textbook activities very heavily.
There is also a worksheet that I got from the other thread.
Hope it helps!
