Here is a PPT I used the last week of the semester for this lesson. I had two students read the spongebob and simpson dialogue. Then used the following slides to ask them what caused the different scenarios to happen.

 ;)
These files were harvested from last year's conversation line.

If using these make sure you try them all out first so that you find any errors or omissions that may be in them.  I haven't reviewed every single one yet, and there is always the possibility that one of the questions is something like "Where did David-Teacher go on vacation?" So keep your eyes out for things like that, but here are some of the projects (without instructions or experience listed, so think before you present!) that others have created for this lesson for this book in the past ~ and remember, these are all creative projects that can be bent and shaped more to your classes and to your liking, so dive in and craft, or enjoy that others already have, or a little of both.

But enjoy none-the-less.

Cheers,
Jimmer

Here is my PPT with two lessons worth plus a lesson plan document with the plans for each lesson on the PPT.
I combined a whole lot of stuff I found on this thread and added the textbook activities.
The worksheet I also found here and edited slightly. Its the "What caused this to happen?" one.
Hope it helps!
