This PPT is for lesson 2.
My students wondered about Greece myth.
So I made them.
But it's not really cool.
Plz feel free to download it.
I'll do my best from now on.
Thank you always.

Here's a worksheet that I put together.  Maybe you can use it.
Both are files are the same, just putting the PDF up for formatting theory.

Cheers

I only had 40 minutes classes this week but I'm sure you could stretch this to 45 minutes.

I printed out the dialogue. Cut up the 10 sentences and put all 10 strips into a ziploc bag (1 bag per 2 students). I had them put the conversation in order and gave candy to the first few groups (or more if I was feeling generous) of students to do it correctly.

Go over the dialogue together to check if they did it correctly. Collect all the bags (I reused them with every class and they all managed to stay intact) and go over the presentation. Once the students have learned the new words, I tell them that it is quiz time and pass out the worksheet. Students should complete the worksheet (most of mine had trouble) and I gave candy to those who completed it or at least tried to.

Go over the next portion of the presentation and have students complete exercise 2 of the worksheet.

I'm attaching another annoying orange game that combines material from lesson 1 and 2.

The usual conversation page based stuff, fill the gap, questions, role play etc... I threw this together in all of 20 minutes when I found out I would be seeing the same class twice in a row this afternoon, I think it's ok but please check to make sure I haven't made any stupid mistakes!

This is for Week 2.

Sorry! My powerpoint skills are almost nonexistent so that's why the minimal pairs "game" is not very fancy.

I just realized that Cupid is a Roman god not Greek :( It should be Eros's arrows.

This is a presentation combining some of the ideas from the older PowerPoints with some newer ideas. I used this to illustrate the key expressions and new vocabulary for this unit.  Also attached is a worksheet taken from the earlier topic board for this lesson and a video to go with the PPT.

My students are very low level so it's important to hammer in the key expressions with plenty of repetition.  Here is another PowerPoint, once again practicing these expressions and also a bomb game based on this lesson. Thanks to the original Gangnam Style Bombgame creator.
