These files were harvested from last year's conversation line.

If using these make sure you try them all out first so that you find any errors or omissions that may be in them.  I haven't reviewed every single one yet, and there is always the possibility that one of the questions is something like "Where did David-Teacher go on vacation?" So keep your eyes out for things like that, but here are some of the projects (without instructions or experience listed, so think before you present!) that others have created for this lesson for this book in the past ~ and remember, these are all creative projects that can be bent and shaped more to your classes and to your liking, so dive in and craft, or enjoy that others already have, or a little of both.

But enjoy none-the-less.

Cheers,
Jimmer

Do you have an answer key for the word scramble riddle things? I can't figure them all out!

I struggled to come up with anything imaginative for this chapter. I have free reign as to what I teach (I don't even need to follow the book) but I like to follow their textbook to give structure to my lessons.

I decided to be a bit abstract and used this lesson to talk about distractions.

I did the  (admittedly terrible) PPT with them, handed out a gap-fill worksheet and played this video. All the words of the song are in the video somewhere. I paired the students off and told them to find the words, but not to get distracted by the singers.

It was quite a successful lesson. All the students got into it, even the lower level ones.

You will probably have to play the video at least 3/4 times until a few pairs are confident they have the correct answers.

Maybe my reward of sweets to the first pair with all the words correct  was the motivation!
