Here is a worksheet that I presented as a stations activity, used near the end of the chapter as a review.

station 1: Unscramble the sentences.
station 2: Translate from Korean to English (have your coteacher double check #3, I think I have the wrong verb for "to take medicine")
station 3: Draw a picture of an illness
station 4: A crossword
station 5: Fill in the blanks conversation

Fun dialog with games.  Diarrhea Champion went over really well.  Winner gets to hold a roll of toilet paper.  You have to make phrase cubes with various sicknesses, diarrhea and this is for you.  When a student rolls this is for you they can pass.  If they have a diarrhea they can give it to another student.  The winner is the student who received the most diarrhea.

It is a song about sickness.
PPT has no sound
Just use the melody " head and shoulder"
It is very useful memorize name of illness.
if you use it with motions in the picture, that will be perfect~ :)

this is card sheet
Print this card and cut and use.

I used this card for card game.
Name of this card game is "one card"

1. do the rock scissor paper.
2. first student put one card on the middle
3. Next student put one card.
but it have to have same sentence with first student's card
or jocker card like " Why don't you take a rest?"
4. If student don't have card to put, just skip.
5. If one student have no card , the student win!!!

Here is a matching game that covers a bunch of different ailments! It went down really even with some of the more difficult classes.

This is mostly for speaking and reading practice. The game is battleship, something most of you are probably familiar with.

Students are in pairs, and each gets a board (they should hide this board behind a propped up text book or under a notebook). Before the game starts, each student must 'hide' 2 boats on their board. One boat must be 2 squares in length, the other is 3 squares. These boats can go horizontally, vertically, and diagonally. Students take turns guessing where their opponent's boats are by saying the key expression. In the classic board game, we choose by saying A3, B9, etc. In this game, they choose by saying "I have a stomachache. Why don't you see a doctor."

The arrangement is a little strange, as only one student is saying the typical call and response, but as strictly a speaking practice, it's a lot of fun. There's almost no way to cheat either :)

Mad props to this.  I didn't do the Diarrhea Champion game, but the Namsu- Park Jisung story is awesome.

I like the go fish game from this lesson, but I don't think it gives the students enough practice, so I made my own game. It's a full 52 card deck. Print, cut, laminate, and go! I hope you find this useful. Feel free to edit as you choose.

*Edit*
I made a simple, but useful PPT to better explain the rules, and I got my co-teacher to translate the rules into Korean in case anyone is still struggling. I really hope this helps guys!

*Edit*
Cut the deck in half, and you have a great memory game. My students LOVED it! All that laminating and I am finding so many extra uses for all that work! Yay!
