Hi folks!

Here is A Simpsons themed Disappearing Dialogue game.As you can see,the kids look at the dialogue and memorize it for a few moments(time up to you based on level), then you go to the next screen and there are parts of the dialogue hidden. You press on the red area to reveal the dialogue after they answer to see if they were correct. This is really great to get them to memorize the Chapter's dialogue for their exam.I usually split the class into 3 teams or so.Then I choose the fastest to raise their hands.I would give a point to the team that answered correctly of course. However, the smart kids will always dominate. So, I try to tell them I will only call on new people. If no one else knows THEN I call on the smart kids again.I have the co teacher help with this.Or you can do your own method obviously.I do have some vocabulary questions, jumbled words, and syllable and stress questions as well. You can easily edit this to your own liking of course!!Hope you like it!!

Hi folks,

Here is the spinning wheel game for Chapter eight. The questions are easy to change if need be.
I usually get a student to come up to the board and keep the teams score. It's fun for both boys and girls!

Here is my lesson plan and powerpoint for this chapter.

The powerpoint includes, a warm-up activity, dialogue game, production/speaking questions, review quiz and more speaking questions.

It includes the activities from the chapter.   I do one chapter in 2 weeks (Time to Talk 1/Time to Listen 1 in the first week and Time to Talk 2/Time to Listen 2 in the second week)

There is a good collection of game templates here: http://waygook.org/index.php/topic,3718.0.html.  The review game could be longer and in a different format if you want.  I've included the disappearing dialogue game separately if you only want that section.

Hope this helps.
