(천재교육 Cheonjae/Frances Sohn) Grade 5 - Multiple Lesson Review

So JC49 created a word-builder for the first semester of 6th Grade keywords and sentences for this textbook.
My principal of my elementary wanted something for the full year so I adapted it and created a 6th grade word-builder workbook, and then the principal asked for a 5th grade one as well, so I've created one for them too.
I've kept JC49's layout and colors and just added the remaining chapters of 6th grade, and then adapted it for 5th grade.
I hope this can be of some use to people teaching with this book.

The idea that my co-teacher and I put forward to the principal in using this book is that students will write the 10 key words out 5 times each night (so 50words a night) and then when we finish the unit (so basically every 2 weeks) they will use the sentences page as a 'test' and they will be awarded stickers or stamps for getting the sentences right. The catch is, they can not look back at the key words list when filling in the sentences. After they've done that, the list of korean words on the side of the sentence page will be used to check they can tell us the english words allowed. So they get reading, writing and speaking tested all in a couple of minutes.
We've made a deal with the students that they will get 1 sticker/stamp for completing the homework each week, and if they get 10/10 they will get 9 more stickers, 9/10 = 8 stickers and so forth. IF they get 10 stickers for 1 week, they will get candy, if they get 10/10 every week for the first semester they get to choose a movie together ... if only 1 person gets 10/10 then that person chooses the movie that they will see for the last class of the semester.
I hope this gives some ideas on how this could potentially be used.

Here is a list of the key sentences for Lessons 1-13. At the beginnning of each lesson I have the students copy the sentences into their ntbks in English and Korean and practice reading in Eng/Kor several times.
At the beginning of each class the students read the key sentences for the current chapter and previous chapters.
It is good reading practice and helps to review for midterm/final.

Here is a lesson 1-4 review Bomb Game. My students have missed a number of classes, so we are a bit behind. May help if you are in a similar situation.

Here's a powerpoint I put together for review. It's not exciting but it's pretty and thorough. Lessons 1-5.
Thanks to kswords for making that key sentences list. It made making this easier.
Happy teaching!

Grade 5 Review Worksheet Lesson 1-4

You can ask your co-teacher to help you with this worksheet.
On the first column are the sentences associated with each lesson. Do a repetition drill for each sentence. After each sentence ask the students to say it in Korean while your co-teacher insures that they're correct. On the second column, students will write the sentences in English. On the third column, they'll write them in Korean.
Have fun with it!

Thanks for the Angry Bird review game, JC49.
I've updated it to include chapter 7 as well. I also fixed some of the English, and updated some of the photos, etc.
Hope it's of use to someone!

Lesson 1-6 Review for 5th Grade using Sprite's YuGiOh template.
I've taken out my own picture on slide 11 for the question 'How do you spell your name?'. Obviously, just fit in your own or someone different in its place
<MOD edit> attributed game to Sprite06.

I made a quick review PPT of the key expressions for lessons 1-6 using textbook images.
1: I'm From Brazil
2: Whose Umbrella Is This?
3: Where's the Ice Cream Store?
4: Do You Want Some More?
5: My Favorite Subject is Art.
6: May I Go to the Bathroom?
You'll want to change slides 4-6 to be about your home country/name.

Here are a few games that we used to review lessons 1-7. The instructions for each game are explained in its PPT. I've included suggestions for some of the slides in the Taboo game as notes at the bottom of the slide. Also, on slide 14 in the Taboo game you'll have to change the name of the school to your school's name.
I found the games elsewhere on Waygook and edited them to work with this book, so thanks to the people who made the original PPTs.
Hope it's helpful. Let me know if you have any questions.
