i am also using this textbook. though i just started, i teach a supplementary class on each chapter.. so its more like i just have to do a lesson on the topic which is entertaining. I'm currently on the jeju chapter.

Hey! I just started teaching in Korea but I'm also using this text. I have a couple of power points ideas that I could share. I have only taught Chapter 2 "What we are not taught" so far.

Hello! I'm a new NET teaching at a HS using this book. Thought I might bump it back up and see if anyone else has any lessons they want to add, or if there is a thread I'm missing with more information.

Chapter 3 - Turning everyday life into art

The latter half of one of these power points is from someone else, sorry for not acknowledging you specifically! I have at tendency to download stuff en-mass which makes it hard to keep track of whose is whose. I'm also lazy.

Anyway these focus on the phrases from the text. If the students used any of the vocab they got a high 5. Surprisingly this works quite well. If they managed 10 vocab words in a class the whole class was rewarded with a sticker. Yes, it worked for 18 year old girls (I was impressed too).

Hope these give you a few lessons. The invention day worked a charm, students created posters, some actually 'created' their invention, lots of manipulation and sales skills were observed.

A few more lessons...

Unfortunately I found out that my school had decided not to do Lesson 4... after I'd almost completed it. As such they're a little unfinished, and I'm not able to say whether they were any good or not.

The first 4 attachments are for Chapter 4 "Two brothers"

The last attachment is for "The Volcanic Hills of Jeju Island"
