A Mario Bomb Game.  It is a little challenging for the students, but a good chance to challenge and help them work through it.

I'm posting a vocabulary crossword puzzle. The hints are the korean definitions. I'm giving one sheet to each table and making it a team competition. They won't be allowed to use worksheets the first 3 minutes.

I edited the matching game so you can click on the pictures and they will disappear after a team gets a match.

Here is a dialogue activity using cards to substitute in the food options. 

Students can take turns playing customer and server and use the guided dialogue to practice the conversation several times.   

The customer chooses 3 cards and uses them to state what he/she wants to order.  The server and customer play rock/paper/scissors to determine if the order is for here or to go.

Great idea!!!
I modified your worksheet for my lowest level students. This is a fun but simple activity. Just print two copies of each worksheet ie 'To go or For here' and cut out the strips accordingly. Shuffle them up.
Have  each student pick out one strip ( my classes size is about 28 -30).  Then ask them to find a partner with the same matching dialogue strip by simply reading their dialogue strip  to each student they meet in an attemppt to find their match!!!

Those were great dialog strips!! Thank you for making them! I tried the matching pair game, but it failed with my students. Some students created "a set menu: fries, hamburger, and cola" instead of finding their pair.


Therefore, I changed the game to Lucky Dialog (similar to Lucky Sentence). A team of 4 or 5 has 8 strips of dialogs (one page of strips plus an extra strip). The first person in the team has all the strips and reads the first strip as quickly as possible, then  hands it off to the next person who continues the process. Similar to Spoons in reference to the speed and passing the 'cards/paper strips' process. After a minute or two yell "Stop!". Teacher chooses a strip (from their own pile) and the students with the same dialog are winners. The students loved this game! They were engaged and actively reading at a fast pace. 

Again, thank you sooo much for making those strips.

Here's a game I used with my classes for "For Here or To Go?". There is a menu file included, which you can print out and give to each team. There is also an order card, and a PPT with the menu included. I found the menu on another post here, so thanks to that person. :)

For the activity, show the kids the menu and go over each food with them. Some of the foods are new to them, and this will eliminate lots of questions and confusion. Have the teams work together to try to guess the most expensive foods. After guessing, they choose an entree, side dish, drink, and dessert, and the team with the most expensive order wins. It worked pretty well, and they kids really liked having a real menu. If you can print it in color, even better. There is a slide on the PPT with the menu with no prices, and then the next has prices. I've done two sets of these, in case you want to do two rounds.

Here is a revised handout for this. I put 4 menu cards on each page. Makes it more efficient and you can just print it in your classroom then.
