Pronunciation Lesson
« on: April 17, 2012, 10:03:42 AM »
I fashioned this pronunciation lesson off another one I found on Waygook last semester. I added to the one I found, changed the format, and spruced it up a bit. I also added a partner activity in which one student faces away from the screen and one student faces toward it. The student facing the screen must read the list of words before them while their partner writes down what they hear. Then, the partners can both look at the screen and check the pronunciation together. Happy teaching!

hey, the content of this ppt was great.

I just made the ppt a little cleaner and clearer, added some slides on the 'Th' sound and more tongue twisters.

In the original file there was a slide of Bret from Flight of the Conchords singing Korean karaoke, I took it out, but here it is on youtube:

(NB, I will show this to my middle school kids _ I may make a shorter/different version for my elementary school)
