Here's a ppt pres I put together in order to review lessons 1 to 3 from the 2012 YBM Sisa book for grade 6.

It includes key words, key expressions and Q&A picture slides.

Feel free to edit/modify it as much as you please.

Hi! Thanks for posting a review lesson. This will be great to use with my next class!I also made a review game for Lessons 1-3 YBM grade 6. It's a Jeopardy game. There are five categories. Each square on slide # 2 has a number, and that is the amount of points the students will receive if they answer correctly. The game slides contain pictures that will quickly (flash) appear and disappear. The students must guess the sentence from that brief look at the picture. I copied many of the sentences directly from the book, however the dark blue category is pretty much a guessing game. Before, playing the game I explained to the students how to answer each category. Please feel free to change points and pictures in the game. If you have questions, feel free to ask. I know my explanation wasn't very detailed.

I borrowed / edited / expanded this to cover 1-7, as my co-teacher wants to review these units in one MASSIVE review session. I suspect it'll get boring, and it's a bit of a rushed and haphazard PPT, but here it is for your viewing / editing / discounting / using pleasure :-)

I hope someone can make use of it and turn it into something decent!

Very little credit for this goes to me. I just pulled in questions from my previous bomb games and that mario review game and put them together with a Starcraft ppt made by (I believe) Daejeon. It's chapters 1-7 as I was instructed to make.

Review materials for lessons 1-5

The font "GROBOLD" is for the review practice PPT. No need to use it, but just in case.

The Handfish fonts are for the worksheet. I highly suggest downloading and installing it (it only takes a second to install), otherwise it'll look horrible, and the writing lines won't appear. That way, you can also edit the questions as you like. If you don't care for that, then I uploaded a PDF version as well.

It gives me great pleasure to spend my whole afternoon making another review ppt game. Here is fruit ninja. Thanks to the original maker. It's cool. My kids will hopefully like it. Large emphasis on lesson 13 but 1 review question for each lesson.

I hate giant PPT reviews, but this is what is required of me.

This is what I used to review lessons 9 to 14 in preparation for their final test. There's a couple of videos that aren't embedded, so won't show up for you.

Needless to say, elicit as much as is humanly possible!

Simple Jeopardy review PPT for Lessons 12-15. If you want the Jeopardy music to play when you open the PPT, you have to save the mp3 file in the same folder as the PPT.

I got this idea from a post on fifth grade. The students have to read and match sentences. The first set I give each student one either Question/statement or Answer. All the Answers stood up and went to the left side of the classroom. The Questions/Statements are numbered so I had them sit in order every other chair. The Answers had to walk around and find their match. When they did they sat down with them. The Question/statement was supposed to read theirs aloud then the Answer should read theirs. The second set I let them get into group of five students and gave them all the questions and answers mixed up. They had to race to get them matched correctly to win.
It did take some explaining but once they understood it went really well and they seemed to enjoy it. (Well fifth grade that is... I will try this on sixth grade next week.)
