Cartoons
« on: December 24, 2010, 01:38:57 PM »
Please note that I haven't used this lesson yet, so I am not quite sure how it will pan out, but since I put so much effort into putting together the lesson plan, I thought that I would share it.

This is a lesson for winter camp. The topic for the lesson is cartoons. It involves a discussion on cartoons (what they are, where you see them, who reads them, how they make you feel, what are your favourites), a puzzle where the students must put the cartoon together in the correct order, filling in blank cartoons, drawing cartoons (using an instructional video), drawing and describing their own cartoon characters and introducing their new characters to the rest of the class.

The lesson should take around 90 minutes. I am attaching the lesson plan, the cartoons that will be used and the cartoon character worksheet. The video can be found here:
