The PowerPoint is an introduction to the lesson and at the end are the instructions for the game. 

To play the board bomb game:
Each group consists of 4 students.  Split the groups up into teams of 2.  Each student will take turns flicking their team's eraser, and wherever it lands they must say "Did you see ________?"  Their partner should answer "Yes, I did," or No, I didn't."  When that block has been landed on, they should x it out.  At the bottom of the page, they can record their team's points.  Once a block has a X, if a team lands on it again, they will lose their turn.

Lesson 9-2 worksheet and guessing game.

Using the target language 'Did you see...'

Students are in pairs. One person from each group turns their back to the screen. The power point showing lots of different objects is shown and the other person has only so many seconds to memorize as many as they can. Their partner who didn't see has the worksheet to fill out by asking 'did you see...' The other replies 'Yes i did or no i didn't.' The winning team is the one who got most correct.

I had my students do a project for this Lesson.

Folding a piece of paper to make a 4 page booklet, I had the students make a comic book about their favorite character. They had to title it "What did ______ do yesterday?" and the following three pages had to be "______ went to the zoo." etc.

I have a ppt to use as an example. I was originally going to have them write about characters from Pororo, but I thought it best to let them pick whatever characters they wanted.

A couple of PPTs for speaking activities. First one is for the first lesson back, ask the class each question and elicit an answer, you can also get students to ask you the questions too. Final slide is all three questions together, give pairs of students one minute to prepare a short dialogue they can get points / prizes for volunteering answers.

Second ppt is a 'find someone who' activity. Just with simple past 'Did you...?' / Yes, I did. / No, I didn't. Students must find one person (other than themselves) who ate pizza etc yesterday. First student for each question receives a point / prize.

Similar to another Zombie activity posted above (and I adapted this from another thread so thanks to the original poster).

One student is a zombie - heads down, eyes closed and tap a student on the shoulder (it works best if you are the only zombie at the start, just keep it a secret and pretend to choose a student instead - you can also see if anyone is cheating this way).

When two students meet one asks;
"What did you do yesterday?"

The other student replies;
I (past tense activity) yesterday. [I played soccer yesterday / I watched TV yesterday etc]

Then both students shake hands and meet new people.

If one of the students is a zombie they reply to the question with;
"I ate humans yesterday"
And they then gently scratch their victim. The victim is now also a zombie (so the zombies spread throughout the classroom).

Play for as long as you like (best to tell the class not to run around at the start). At the end get students to guess who the first zombie was (they're usually surprised when they realise it was the teacher)

Worksheet for a grammar auction. Students really enjoy it.

Each group gets £2000 to buy as many sentences as possible (each sentence correctly bought = points / prize). Bids are in increments of £100.

Give every group the worksheet and five minutes to correct any mistakes (12 sentences, 6 correct, 6 incorrect).

After 5 minutes start the group bidding process (teacher is the auctioneer and so it helps if you have a plastic hammer to bang on your desk).

If students buy a sentence (by having the highest bid) they must state whether the sentence is right or wrong. If they answer correctly they win the sentence (and points / prizes) so deduct the value from their total. If they correctly say a sentence is wrong they must also say why for the point.

If they answer incorrectly (i.e. claim that a correct sentence is actually incorrect) they do not win a point/prize but still deduct the bid amount from their total.

Winning team is the group with the most sentences bought at the end of the game.

PPT has all the answers to work through as you auction/bid. Keep a running total of each groups' cash on the board.
