~ Elementary Winter Campers ~
« on: December 27, 2010, 03:12:55 pm »
Here's a book I made for an Elementary school I worked at last year.
It's very simple, but at 100 pages long there's a good few activities in here.
This may be useful if you need to fill some time or have the learners doing some quiet work...

There are some great worksheets in here. I'll definitely use this to get my kids to sit still! Thank you x

vitamin, did you make this all yourself?!  Awesome amount of work.  Did you put it together in Word.  It seems it's very hard to properly place graphics into a Word document.  100 pages would drive me around the bend.

100 pages did drive me a little mad, yes  ???
I had a good while to do it though, and as you can see I filled a few pages with role-plays, idioms, phrasal verbs, etc...
Glad it might be useful to you guys  ;) - better than going digitally dusty on my computer...

Can I say LIFESAVER? I just discovered that my planned first year middle school camp of 23 kids turned into 4 kids, one of them SO low level that he can barely read the alphabet. Sigh.
Thanks for this!!!

Awesome!! I have a 3 grader in my camp of 1 and 2nd graders. This will come in handy to give her more things to do as she finishes.

As requested by teachertq please find attached the Microsoft Word file.
With this you will be able to correct/revise/adapt the book to suit your own teaching methods.

- warning, this document is highly likely to appear skewed on your computer.

This is great work. Thank you!

I have made a couple of books myself. I hope they can be as much help to you, and everyone else, as this one will be to me.
The summer camp book is aimed at gr. 4/5/6 students.

The winter camp book is aimed at gr. 3/4/5 students.

However I think you could tailor both to meet your needs.

There are some supplementary PPTS that I made for a few of the lessons. I don't have them on this comp anymore though. If you have any questions let me know.
