In the past month or so I did (for 3/4 grade), I created 2 powerpoint presentations:

1.) Animals.  I knew kids were interested in pokemon, so I connected animals with the corresponding pokemon species.  Children loved identifying their favorite pokemon in the pictures.  There's also a flyswatter game at the end you can play. 

2.)  Seasons.  It took a lot of time to get the best looking pictures, but the result turned out really great.  This is a beautiful powerpint presentation on the seasons whose dazzling colors and such should catch the attention of even the youngest of students.
