I want to start by thanking seonsaengnim for her hard work and for inspiring me to make this game. Her game is quite good, but I wanted to make something that captures the experience of digging in the earth and finding really valuable materials, all the while hoping a creeper doesn't blow you up. With those two ideas and seonsaengnim's game as a template I set out to make my first ppt game.
As I said, this is my first ppt game. I kinda went all out, including sounds, videos, and animating the mining action (FYI getting the arm to come back up while the stone block breaks wasn't easy). To this point, I have used the game on 3 different computers without any problems, but I have downloaded enough ppts with videos in them to know that it doesn't always work as it's intended. I've also tested the game many times and I think I have found most but probably not all of the bugs. So if there are any issues please let me know and I will try to get them ironed out within the next couple of days. Or feel free to fix the problems yourself and reupload the game.
I am uploading the game in two pieces, the pptx and a zip file containing the videos and sounds (together the zip is 46MB and the max upload on waygook is 45MB...). My advice would be to unzip the folder onto your desktop and then place the ppt inside that file. I have tried this on 3 computers and so far it hasn't mattered where the ppt is in relation to the videos folder. However, I think the best bet is to keep them together.
UPDATE:
So, I tried it at school and the videos didn't want to play. After some investigation, I found out that I needed to update the Windows Media Player codecs. After that the PPT worked perfectly. I have included the file to update WMP codecs in the zip file. Hope it helps.
I also changed the animation for the text after the videos. It was barely functional on my slow school comp.
