Sorry, I looked to see where I could post this for a family thread. But for the benefit of teachers of all levels and grades I started this post here. I found this great diagram on this blog here:

I also like that the diagram breaks down various gender named differences in relations to the gender of the person (i.e "me" as a boy and "me" as a girl).
Well, I hope this is remotely helpful. I'll try this out with 3-6th graders. I may try this out with my 1-2 graders for winter camp and see if it works...I'll let you know how it goes. Please also share with fellow waygookers how it worked or flopped for you.

Great find! I made a short ppt expanding on this picture to explain family relationship vocabulary in a bit more depth. (You might want to add/change a few of the terms to reflect your regional usage.)
