In the book for period three they call the Red panda, "lesser panda"
Is red panda an American thing or is the book just doing a literal translation?

The Red Panda is also called "Lesser Panda". Animals named "lesser ____" are usually smaller varieties of a related species. People prefer to say Red Panda because it isn't a "lesser" (read, lower, less important) animal. :)

here is a simple game I made.

Put class in groups of 4
I show the picture for a couple of second. Then the class says "Do you remember the picture?"  The group must recall as many pics as possible.
If they cant remember them all, another team can steal their point remember just one more item on the other teams picture.

Here's a video we used for Motivation.  Will be creating a cloze and subtitles to use in place of rap box.  Do you Remember, Kidz Bop version.

I call these writing stations..

Basically put these on 6 pieces of paper and students must walk around the room and complete all 6 tasks. I number the students off so everyone doesn't start at one. Usually try to give a prize to whoever finishes correctly first.

It's a nice twist to writing from the textbook and gets the kids up and moving and motivated to finish quickly.. sometimes!

Here are the 6

1 - Unscramble
a)  Remember/Do/You/?
b) 6 o'clock/come/by/home/please

2- Translate to Korean
a) Don't eat too much
b) Yes, I remember

3- Translate
a) worm
b)catch
c)remember
d) library

4-
a) Do you remember where Nicole teacher is from?
b) Do you remember how old Nicole teacher is?

5- Answer
a) Do you remember what you did on Saturday?
b) Do you remember what you did during summer vacation?

6- Tell Nicole Teacher
a) Something you remember learning about Thanksgiving
b) Something you remember from yesterday.

This activity uses the expresion "Do you remember (this movie)?"  Students will describe a movie they have seen to others, giving its genre, setting, actors and plot.  The PPT reviews these concepts with a couple of examples.  There is a worksheet they do to get the facts down about their movie before trying to make others guess.

Used a catch the sentence template found previously. I forget who to thank.

Catch the Sentence, Kiwi Bird style.

This lesson is so weird... fruit land? Apples calmly explaining that their brains are being eaten by worms?

I am sure some of you have been waiting for it and here it is... my power point for this lesson of course focuses on the key phrases but includes a bit of an American culture/history/my traditions lesson as well. I'm sure you will enjoy it. Just make sure to play through it a couple of times before your classes so you know what's going to happen. Have a great day teaching everyone!

This lesson is kind of weird, so here are some things we're using for the first period.

The time practice is meant to underline the difference between "at" and "by".

The count the stars game is my own template for a hidden picture game. The pictures are vaguely representative of some key expressions for the first dialogue.

If there is a WG in front of the attachment, I have simply edited or reformatted the material downloaded by other teachers.

Here is a ppt writing game. Students choose a sentence and write it down in their notebooks. I up the points with every round. This is a very thinly veiled attempt to get the students to do some writing, but my S's love it. I encourage them to write as neatly as possible, and we read the words together before they write their choice down. I give them bonus points for neatness and for reading the words exceptionally well, which makes all the other students try harder.
You can give a prize or some points/stamps, and it takes about 30 minutes. Although can be cut shorter.
My name appears a few times, just change it to yours - it'll take 2 minutes. All the sentences are taken from the resource book.
