It seems all of the replies on this thread are concerning Middle School.  What about Elementary? Who can suggest something (other than Simpsons and Adventure Time) for Elementary Grade 5 and 6?

I'm considering Doctor Who, but not sure which episode would be the best for this age......

Doctor Who might be a hard sell at that age. If you're determined though maybe try Partners in Crime. That episode is pretty light and I'm sure they'll find the Adipose cute at least.

Other shows that might go over well are Avatar: The Last Airbender or The Legend of Korra. Both are cartoons, but with themes and humor that are good for all ages, including adults! Or if you don't want to go the cartoon route at all, you can always try one of those teen sitcoms if you can find subs: Wizards of Waverly Place, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Victorious, etc.

I have been showing my students episodes of Victorious but it seems the subtitled episodes have ran out on mgoon.  They stop around s02e04.  Do you have recommendations for similar shows?  I don't like showing sitcoms such as Big Bang Theory and Community because I think they are a little too racy.
