(Cameron Wood) Grade 5, Lesson 12 - "All Right With You?"
« on: October 19, 2012, 02:19:14 PM »
Here's something I did for the Think and Talk, Say it Right, and Role-Play sections of Chapter 12.

After doing a warm-up game, went through Think and Talk, Say it Right, then handed it the gap-fill for the role-play. (put some stickers on it...looks pretty dull as it is).

Following the Role-play, we played bingo for the time remain using the attached cards. Made sure every student got a chance to pick a phrase and speak it.

Now what the heck am I going to do for the Go Go Sing section next week? No idea how I'm going to fill up the rest of the time.

Hope that helps!

Here's a pretty basic Intro ppt for lesson 12.  Includes vocab and expressions.  My kids are really low level.  I've also included a circle the correct word for the Look and Listen Part, I tried doing FIB and even with a word bank it was too difficult.

More stuff I ended up using.  A Blazing Pens game and RP FIB.

A very simple word scramble game.  I give them mini whiteboards and markers and make them write the answers quickly.

Super Mario 'All Right' Balloon Pass.

Reading and dialog practice.

You need two balloons to play (1 yellow, 1 blue).
