Hey guys, here is pt2 of my lesson.

Basically goes through opinions again (reviewing lesson 8) and then has a sentence bingo game where the students create a sentence then sit down if i read any part of their sentence. Last one standing is the winner. Pretty self explanatory.

Enjoy

Here's part of my lesson plan.
L11 is complex because the book only gives you a very small amount of situations to use "I don't understand" and "Do you find _______ interesting?" So I decided to go along with other teachers in the original thread and modify the publisher's idea for the lesson.

1) L11A Handout - the first period we will go over the vocabulary (what does it mean in English?), key expressions and textbook Speaking activities. I find the activities in the book TOO easy and predictable, so I've made more on the handout (modified from the standard Elementary handouts). There's some space left for writing notes or what have you as well.

2) L11B Movie Quiz and Worksheet - on the board, I will explain Genre, Setting, Plot, and Review. I'll give them some key words (like romantic comedy, thriller, action, spy, drama, historical, etc) and the coteacher and I will work together to help them through the "Quiz" ppt. The more creative the answers, the more points to the teams. After the PPT, have them choose their favorite movies to write about (at least two) and 1 for homework (if you assign homework).

This can also be used as a game. Don't write the title, but write about the movie. Then quiz your friend.
Ex. A: "It's a thriller spy movie about a man. He kills some people. I thought it was really exciting."
B: "I don't know/I don't understand...How about James Bond?"

That kind of thing. Good luck!  ^^

here is Pt1 of Lesson 11.

I forgot to post it earlier.

Pretty basic lesson looking at expressing 'I don't understand' and 'I don't get it'

My students need to know how to make reported speech sentences in their final exam, which is something that's covered in this chapter. I guess most native teachers won't need to cover it as it's not in the listening/speaking section but I'm doing this with my kids as they need the practice! This might be useful for other people as a filler lesson, possibly...?

The first slide has explanations in English and Korean - just hide/unhide the one you need/don't need depending on your students level.

The soccer game at the end is pretty popular! Explanations in the lesson plan and PPT.

Edit: Spelling mistake in original PPT
