Here's my first lesson for Chapter 3.

PPT for A Level, has the dialogue matching the one in the book.
PPT for B Level has a similar dialogue, but simplified.

The worksheet can be used for any level.

For the pictures at the end of the PPT, I am going to have them in small groups (3 or 4 people), they must come up with the best or funniest advice for that person.  The winning group for each picture will receive a sticker on their point card (my reward system).

Here are my ppts for the first lesson (listening) from Lesson 3. I teach speaking and listening. The listening is divided between AB and CD levels; CD has simplified explanations and I've selected the easier activities.

I found that the Mike and Cindy dialogue was so different from the animals one... It seems to be arranged in the order of Being Different, Giving Advice, Giving advice on being different. That's the only way I can make sense of it. The kids seem to prefer the animals, so I focused more on that, but you can spend more time on Mike and Cindy if you want to do those exercises with the lower levels.

I'll add the speaking bits after I've had time to test them on my guinea pigs Monday classes next week.

Here is my review class that I did for this lesson:

I used some materials from this website to make it.

It attempts to tie every speaking section of the chapter together.

Hopefully it'll be useful to people next year.

My school has been unusually busy so they've split the teaching 1/2 then 3/4 then next semester 5/6/7 then 8/9/10.

My kids are going to have a hard time after the summer. ^^
