Worksheet and a power point to accompany it. The worksheet has fill in the blank dictation, short answer, substitution drill, and a writing component.

I created the introduction powerpoint (I focused solely on the "I'm going to.." part of the lesson) and it's overly-simplified for my boys.  The PPT contains lots of gifs to keep the boys interested; HOWEVER, the downfall of this lesson is that it requires interaction with students. If you have a quiet, unresponsive class, it's a little bit of a pain to use this ppt. I tell the boys that I won't show the video until someone tries making a sentence about it first.

Next, since this lesson has a lot to do with travel, I've included another powerpoint  about landmarks that's not mine.  You can teach the landmarks (and which country they're in), then go back and prompt "What landmark are you going to visit?" to get them to use the function phrases.

Simple game:
  One student comes to the front and faces the rest of the class so he can't see the picture on the screen.
   Other students must give them clues to say the target language.

For the second lesson on this chapter I focused on the target language "I will." After doing the Listen and Talk pages in the book, we watched the Pixar short "Paper Man" and the kids did a worksheet about future tense. Then I used 4 Corners again for the activity.

Chapter 6 (nicked from someone else), a worksheet and a world map. Once the groups had 'planned their trips', I opened the world map file in MS Paint and drew lines across the map in different colours, Indiana Jones style.
