Valentine's Day Picture Game
« on: February 14, 2011, 02:49:03 pm »
Used this with my middle school classes today, went really well. Just a series of slides with Valentine's Day themed words. Kids are in teams, send one person from each team to the front of the classroom where they can't see the slides and the teams take turns giving clues until one of the 'it' people guesses the word.
Takes about half an hour. I showed Bugs Bunny Cupid Capers off Youtube to fill in the rest of the time.

Thanks soo much for this power point. My Middle school kids loved it. They were soo engaged in the activity. I didn't use the video though. Instead I started off the class using a mind map and having them tell me about Valentines, chocolate, candy, boyfriend/girlfriend, love, cupid etc., which took up about 5 minutes of the class.
