Here's a quick lesson for the first class of the new semester.
Obviously, this is highly aimed at my own teaching style so please feel free to use what you can.
Certainly, change photos and names, etc, if nothing else.

Thanks for the great into lesson. I was wondering what you do with the yellow and green cards. Do they wait until the end of the semester and get prizes for the green cards? And what about the yellow cards? Thanks :)

My school has a system of allocating green and yellow cards. These are positive and negative points that go toward the student's final grade.
My school is very low performing, so the incentive/punishment works well.

I've only ever handed out 1 yellow card so far... ;)

I handed out 4 demerit slips 2 weeks ago and the next week the whole class was silent. Mission accomplished.

plus when I want Ss attention, I say "class class class" They say :Yes x 3
Together "Zip for Zip your lips shut"
