Jobs!
My first day I watched a few lessons and had my first class which was a Grade 2 class or something like that. I thought every things was great until a kid ddong-chimmed me.
I've clobbered together a pretty good presentation. As with all my powerpoints, the powerpoint really does everything for you. It teaches the key expression: 'what is your hobby?' and 'what are your hobbies?'. Elicit as much as you can from your students. Also be sure to stress that:you are playing the instrument.you are playing football.articles, articles, articles. I stole a 'guess what this hobby is as I slowly remove the panels' game from someone on this site and added a few slides of my own. There is also a worksheet mingling activity where ther students get up and interview each other. Since my first graders are shy, I make sure the boys have at least 3 girls on their list, and vica versa. Finally, I think I'll steal the speed quiz from Rachel and use that as a finisher. Thanks Rachel. Any feedback/questions let me hear it :-)Any plans for next week guys? I'm thinking of teaching the simple future 'will' using activities from the textbook.

"We need not fear North Korea, for we have 2nd grade middle school students."
Here's what I've done, I hope it's useful.
Question - how do you extract the mp3 files for the voice clips from the CDs? I know you recorded these ones but I remember some of your previous presentations had stuff from the CD. Cheers!
