Here is my powerpoint for "Ask the Animal Doctor," as well as a powerpoint for the hot seat game.

For the game, 1 student from each team stood at the front of the room with a whiteboard and their back facing the TV screen. Then, I'd put an illness on the screen. All the students would try to get their teammate to guess the illness. I only gave them 1-2 minutes to guess and write it down on their whiteboard. It actually worked super well! I also played the game for the next class and it used up about 30 minutes of our time. Most students got super into it.

I made some flashcards about different ailments and played two games with them.

The first was a matching game (match the word to the sickness.) The second was an old-maid style game, with the doctor being the maid.

The kids really seemed to like both games.

This lesson is only for Listen and Talk 1.
I made this for a group of six students, but I've played the game with larger sized classes. The review section is short, because explaining the rules to Battleship and set-up take a little while for the students to understand and complete.
Have fun.

Here's a Pokemon review game for lesson 8. Questions adapted from the teacher's book.

I know this is from years ago, but holy cow this powerpoint is absolutely amazing. I can't wait to do this with my class!
