This is a lesson for Listen & Speak 1. I prefer not to drill grammar but I thought a little practice on progressive wouldn't hurt, especially since it's part of the target language for the chapter. Let me know what you think.

Here's my PPT and lesson plan for WEEK 1 of Unit 3. I split each unit into two weeks, so this week's focuses on the "Let's play basketball" key phrases. (Next week will focus on the "What's wrong?" and giving advice, I will update this post with that PPT and lesson when I make it  )

I intro the key phrases, have them gap-fill and speak together as a class, have them do Listen and Speak C and D, and intro different ways to propose activities.

EDIT: Attached is my condensed lesson for three of my classes. Since midterms are next week I need to stuff the unit into a single lesson for half my first graders. I cut out some extra phrases (which were just confusing the students anyway) and added in the material for "What's wrong?" etc. Didn't do the extreme sports activity that I previously mentioned, not enough time.

EDIT 2: Attached is part 2 of unit 3, covering the "what's wrong?" key phrases for an entire lesson. Basically just added some slides to cover the book activities on page 49 and 50.

This is the material I have for Listen and Speak Part 1 of this chapter.

My students just wrapped up Unit 2 on activities around the house, so I included a quick review of that after the warm-up (or mind stretch). 

I have my students write the Day's Dialogue and practice it. Then we do a fill-in the gap activity, where all the students stand and try to complete the gap with the appropriate word.  They sit if they make a mistake.  For my lower level classes and students, I let them use their notes.  It's more about practice than precision, after all.

After that we play a Human B-I-N-G-O game, which they have liked.  The first three students finished win stickers, which they collect for candy in the long run. 

If there's time after B-I-N-G-O, we play a basketball game.  Students are split into teams and have to listen and answer to questions in order to earn an opportunity to throw a tennis ball into a box with a hole in its bottom.  They win points by making shots. Most shots win!

Most of my classes haven't gotten to play the basketball game because of time.

Game for Unit 3 Listen and Talk 1

Pass the bomb game with countdown effects and explosion.

I have kids use the dialogue from the book, but change the Let's _______________ to go aong with the picture.

Student 1 has the bomb when it blows up.  He is A, I am B.  Student 1 doesn't sit down.

Student 2 has the bomb when it blows up.  He (2) is A, and Student 1 is B.  Student 1 sits down, while student 2 remains standing.

Rinse and repeat. 

Other slides have a Question and Answer already on it, to be read as is.

Some of hte time between bombs is quite long (in excess of 1 minute).  Change it as you see fit.

If you have a lower-level class, this may help. I find that I really have to break things down a lot for my group and have super clear visuals and vocabulary or I lose them completely.

This lesson reviews:
-Do you have any plans...?
-Let's...
and introduces
-Are you busy...?
-Why don't we...?

It ends with a sentence scramble game which you could play in several different ways, depending on your class. I'll have mine get into teams and run to the board to write the sentence.

I use pages 48 and 49 then elicit "problems" and "solutions" (words my students associate with, you might want to change it) and put them on the board. 

Drill the first conversation, then I pair my students up and ask them to practice while keeping their list on the board. 
We move to the dice game in the end and give candy to the students who can perform without the board.
