This is a review of lessons 1 and 2. I pulled a game template from Waygook and filled it with questions about the two lessons. There's a joke question in there. Make sure to either change the answer or change the slide entirely.

Review CH 4-5
« Reply #2 on: June 25, 2013, 09:12:53 am »
This is a scavenger hunt race I made for my students for chapters 4-5. I have a review ppt as well but did not upload it because half of it is other material on culture that I also use on the exam. It is a race so first their group must complete the worksheet "Scavenger hunt" to get the next worksheet  "disagree/agree" worksheet and then wordsearch. I have a total of 4 worksheets but these three are the ones that can be applied to this chapter.

LoL Bomb Game Review for chapters 3 & 4

This bomb game also includes review of phrases from classes they had with the Korean teachers as well as my additional lesson on food topics.

The bomb game was taken from HAZZARD (Thank you Katie ^^)

The kids love the game. I had to add "ALL TEAM LOSE POINTS" to the original template because the kids goes nuts when all team lose.

The questions are simple. If you get a slide that has a phrase like, "Minjun ate all my ice cream." The students should give you advice/suggestions on what to do.

Good for all levels.

Lesson 4-6 Review Mario Bomb Game
« Reply #4 on: July 02, 2013, 09:41:00 am »
Hey everyone. I'm not sure what units everyone will do for the final test. But at my school the kids will be tested on Units 4-6.

I just finished making a Mario Bomb game (I borrowed the template from someone else). I'm not at all computer savvy. I teach only the speak out sections, so its from that only. On some slides there are maps, I would love for the maps to disappear so you can see the answer, but I don't know how to do that (and my powerpoint is in korean).

Also, there are slides that let you pick a mystery box. The corresponding letters are C, I, M, Z and numbers 3 and 4. I have questions but it links directly to the mystery box and not the question. I have no idea how to change this.

I will use what I have... but if someone can fix some of those things to make them work and repost it, I will be forever grateful!!

Enjoy.

Batman bomb game and Catch the Words game to review lessons 1-3. Please double check them before you use them:)

Here is a worksheet and answers PPT for lessons 1-3.
I started the lesson quickly reviewing the "speak out" sections from the textbook (10mins or so) and then did this for the rest of the lesson.

*Please note*
You'll have to change your name/country for the "introduce your teacher," question for lesson 1.
lesson 2 has a listen and number section. Have the students ask you, "do you do any house work?" and then they number the order you say the chores in.
Also for lesson 3, "match the problems and advice," make sure to write these on the board as there wasn't enough space.

Attached are my 2nd semester mid-term review and End of semester review

My students have exams next week, so this week we are reviewing what they studied all year. I realized I hadn't uploaded my 2nd semester files, and I see no one else has either.

Many thanks to the designers of the templates for the games, I just put them together, a little last minute as my co-teacher only asked for them the day of the lesson. If there are any errors, I apologize in advance.

Happy teaching.

Teach this to your students... they'll thank you for it later!

Here's a chunking and dividing review I did for lessons 8, 9, and 10.
You'll need to print out the sheets and then cut them up.
I have small class sizes, so I printed 2 copies and cut them up and put each exercise in a paper clip and then had 2 teams of students to put the chunks back together.
Some are word by word, some are sentence order, and some are dividing the sentences with a /

All the scripts were taken from the textbook in some regard.

Here's a review PPT I made to go over chapters 1 and 2 of the book (mostly using bits of other people's PPT's). I played 4 different games for about 5 to 10 minutes each as part of the review, and the games are all included in the PPT except for my review game for Chapter 1 Listen and Speak part 1 (I posted that game in the Lesson 1 thread).

Hope this helps!
