I realized I haven't been contributing much so I'm trying to change that!
I cover Speaking and Writing in my classes, so my lessons might differ from those who cover Listening and Speaking. Usually the students have already learned the key expression for Listen & Speak, and we only spend about ten minutes on the Speaking portion (the mini movie, practicing the expressions, and sometimes the last activity). We spend most of the class on the Step Into Writing/Enjoy Writing pages and writing activities. I usually look at what specific rules my coteacher is focusing on in the grammar section and try to complement that.
For the first class plan, the game is a "correct the sentence" done in groups. You need a whiteboard/markers for each group. It covers the grammar and vocabulary learned in Lesson 10 plus a few to review Lesson 9.
In the second section the game is a Dice Writing Game (kind of like bingo) that I found on waygook and changed so that it matched what my students are learning. I put specific instructions in the notes in the ppt. My coteacher and I checked the sentences before we begin the game to make sure they make sense. All you need is dice.
Hope this helps someone!
