Hi,

I was wondering does anyone have any problems with the YBM Cds. Whenever i use them they seem to not work probably or are really really slow. Any suggestions why this maybe?

YBM Si-Sa Curriculum
4th Grade, Lesson 4 "What Day Is It Today?" Worksheet-  Includes target vocab and expressions for the unit, a crossword, and fill in the blanks for listen and repeat.  Good as an introductory or review worksheet.  Modify to your needs.  Hope it helps!

Introduction to the Lesson you can use on second day as well, it's a simplified version of my 5th grade lesson...

I find the students love the chants but are less receptive to some of the other activities on the CD-ROM. I just supplement these activities with my own.

Anyone else having sound issues with the CDs?  All of the speech is so much quieter than the sound effects, so I turn the volume up so my students can hear what the characters are saying.  But then, whenever there's a sound effect it's so loud my students cover their ears.

Pass the 'Fish' Game
I have my students pass a stuffed animal fish instead of a ball, you can replace the picture with whatever you use in your classroom...
There is a colors review before the game.

Hi.. I am changing schools mid way through next week and also textbooks... yipeeeeeee

But I just want to know if anyone has the teachers guide for the Yellow YBM Shisa book? I have absolutely no idea what lesson they are on at the mo and I am not familiar with it. I think maybe they are up to JUmp! Jump.. but there is bugger all resorces at the mo on here and I would like to make some... if only I knew what each unit was about.

Any help would be awesome....

I am going to try a game called "monster"?  I found with Genki English.  The point of the game is for the students to try to get from one side of the room to the other without being eaten by the monster.  They have to ask the monster how it is feeling and if he says I am cold, happy, sad, scared, whatever they get to take one step forward.  If the monster says "I'm hungry" they have to run back to the safe wall and not get caught.  If they are caught they then become the monster as well.

Can anyone share a pdf version of the teachers guide for the 3rd grade, YBM Si-Sa book? This is the mostly yellow book with the cartoon/girl face on the cover.

Not sure where else to put these, so I'm reviving this thread.

These are the Teachers' Guides in ENGLISH for the whole book for 3rd and 4th grade.  (Except the "Reivew" sections, which I couldn't find.)
