Is there anything for this lesson? I've looked everywhere, but can't find a thing.

As a warm up I will go through this list I found online. It's the Top 10 Korean Foods foreigners should try, I made a simple PowerPoint and students can describe the food. I've also made a 1-10 scale for the board and students will rate each food...10 being the best and 1 being the worst. Then it leads into their task: in groups of 3 they will make a food tray about different Korean foods using the key expressions from their book. It's not amazing but it repeats the information they need to know and my students really like doing creative tasks. Hope this gives an idea for someone!

My teaching style may be different from yours.  One week, I do the text book.  Depending on the school, "Let's Communicate" or "Listen and Speak" will be my responsibility.  I cover that for maybe 20 to 30 minutes depending on the students level.  After that, I play a game or do short power points summarizing these phrases or themes.  The second week, I do my own original lessons based on the theme of the chapter. 

As for the theme lessons, I already have Power Points for some of them. 

Anyways, this is a textbook week lesson.  First, I do my section of the book.  Then, I go into this power point for the rest of the class.  The textbook usually takes most of the time in class.  (I usually make them large enough to not finish in class.  But, I'd rather have too much than not enough.)  The next week, I will do a more detailed lesson about "Korean Culture" for the full class.

I do sometimes copy other people's material and blend it with my own original work.

Here is a complete culture lesson for Chapter 9.  It is based heavily off of weigookin74's lesson; I simply reworked the PPT and added some more information.

The PPT is self-explanatory, just go through it with the class.  I play it off that the students are the teacher today, and they have to teach me about their culture.  The main activity is drawing.  After discussing symbolism in country flags with the class, I let the students design and create their own flag for a reunified Korea.  It's been pretty successful, as I've done this same lesson with Grade 1 and 2 middle school over two years now.  I suggest displaying the best flags from each class - make sure to tell the class you're going to do this (it increases participation slightly).

Hi. First time posting. Some of this is adapted from great previous PPT's - many thanks. I used the Intro to Korean Culture as a warm up and had kids brainstorm favourite Korean foods and culture elements. The second PPT is a short intro to the Key Expressions for Listen and Speak 1.
 I used the go fish cards at the end in a Memory Game. The cards are all turned face down - 2 cards are turned up. The student says the key phrase on each card. If they are a matching pair she can keep them. They take turns trying to remember exactly where each card is - taking care to say the phrase each time until they are all done. The student with the most cards wins.
