A very basic PowerPoint for Lesson 4 It's Up to You!  Students look at the pictures and have to guess what the pictures are related to by using the phrase, "Are you good at...?  I plan on having students  draw their own pictures or act and have them share with the class.  Students have to guess the actions or drawings of the students.

I made this first part very simple, because I split the chapters into two weeks....

 Plan -

1. Introduction
2. Partner Conversation Practice - 5-8 teams share their conversations with the class.
(Talking about weekend plans.)
3. Textbook - Pages 74 / 75 only.
4. Bingo - Practicing asking "Are you good at...."

I hope it helps someone. :)

Here is a board game to talk about the future (adapted from a board game from bogglesworld).   Normal board game rules, roll the dice, move the game piece and follow the instructions.

My lesson 4 PPT covers the two grammar points: "I'm going to..." and "Are you good at..." It's pretty simple.

Hey so again all my lessons are split into 2 weeks (so lots of fillers and reviewing). Also thanks to other Waygookers as I used some of their content.

So for past A of this I run the lesson's key phrases first then onto a video by Zack Kim, kids love it :). From there I move onto explaining I like it alot and then onto a fun drilling game(its all in the PPT) drill each slide.

Next to another video clip from the movie HotRod *PS please be careful there is one swear word near the end of it* so make sure to mouse skip it on the video. It is used to intro "not been good at something..." and that allows for the phrase "I'm going to....". I tel them that it is for the future. To reinforce I use a what happens next video but change the words to "what is going to happen next to" show future tense. Students watch a clip/then it pauses and I give possible choices on a PPTX/then the video reveals it. Lastly I drill it further and finish with a BINGO game.

Also the "What Happens next video" is attached below.

Ok so now is part 2 and again thanks to other waygookers who I have use some content

So I start checking if students remember the previous week's phrases. From there I move on to a video by Dynamo the magician and ask after showing it "if he is good at magic?" Next I play a review game basically a picture reveal game that slowly become clear. If a student knows the answer they must raise their hand and answer using "Are you good at.......?"

Next I quickly review "I like it a lot" and show another 2 hot rod clips (these are both clean ) too reinforce not been good at something and that we use the phrase "I'm going to..../I'm going to practice" Next I focus on future plans for the Day and drill that.

From there I move onto the next key phrase "Are you worried about...../What are you worried about?" I start this by showing Justin Beanber followed by playing a Mr. Bean video. Again pause the video at points and ask students "What is Mr.Bean worried about? Afterwards drill using the last slides.

To end I play a Doraemon bomb game by Kyle (really fun and great looking).
