Haven't tried this lesson yet so I'll let you know how it goes pretty straight forward and easy to follow.  I used the WS from the CDrom for the book!  I just now found out how to get the pdf WS that go with the book.

I created some slides of what they like better on Korean vs. US foods and k pop vs. US pop stars in hopes to spark some interest talking.  If that goes well I'll save the listening for next time.

1.8.2 - Review - I will use this to start the second lesson as a quick review before playing the "Senior Superlative" game with them (which is posted in my post above).

Part A – as a warmer we did the ‘guess the brand’ activity. Then we went through the first page of listening, covered the ‘I can’t wait for…’ grammar part, and did the unscramble worksheet (tori_bird’s template).
For the game, we played an ‘I can’t wait for…’-themed Give Me 5 game, in the PPT

Part B – more brand warmups, using talkalot999’s Icomania template (http://www.waygook.org/index.php?topic=55534.0)
I handed out the bingo worksheet and we played to 4 bingos
Then we moved onto the comparatives part. Introduced / practiced the structures in the PPT, then I showed them some videos (linked in the PPT), and had them write sentences on their mini-whiteboards using the comparative / superlative.  Finished off with pass the ball 

Part C – review. We finished off the listening, and played the Mari bomb game

I took Mlatte's idea for the logic puzzles and made it into ppt using superheros. It very basic but could be used as a good warmer.

Okay I'm attaching some brand new ppt material.  I'm probably going to use this material either the second and/or third time I teach this chapter.  In this ppt I focus on the expression "I can't wait to," ways for students to be money smart or not to be, and Whitney Houston's "The Greatest Love of All" song with activities.

I think this is a good worksheet to review the comparatives and superlatives.  Thanks to whoever posted it on waygook first.
